Celestial Falls is 45-50 ft. of good, clean fun. The first time I ever ran it was back in October with Billy, Ryan, and Charlie who came to coordinate. Last weekend I got a call from Christina and she and Josh were both fired up to run it. I was hungry for round two so Heather and I drove down to meet them on Sunday. It was a pretty frosty morning and the level was on the low side, but still sweet.

Upper Pacuare : Round 2
We loved the Upper Pacuare so much the first time around that we decided a second run on it would be a great parting gift for me. We hooked up with our friend Willie from CO that we met during our first visit to Turrialba and set off to take him down the run for his first time. (very trusting, that one, letting two rookies to the run lead him down)

Once again, the run was super fun and we had a great day!

Now I am back to the states, hopefully to find some good creekin' in the PNW!!
Ciao Ciao Costa Rica! Pura Vida!
Upper Orosi
After a big night out with our new friends in Quepos, we packed up for the long drive back to Turrialba. While driving through Cartago we had yet another moment of dumb luck. I looked over to find my friend Ferdinand beside us with a kayak on his roof! After a quick window conversation we decided to join him and some friends for a run on the Upper Orosi!

What a great run! The bottom dropped out around every corner! Definitely a favorite and one that I will return to some day! Thanks Ferdinand!
This was the steepest run we did on the trip, with narrow lines and high pinning potential. It could have made for a long day without having someone along who knew the lines.
